The lid is easy to clean and I am so happy I upgraded!

It never arrived.

Having two v1 lids from two bottles the differences are amazing. Much better grip, seals easier to clean. More robust handle. I’m kinda sad at the change of the mouth thingy screw being on the outside but i guess R&D made that decision, doesnt bother me but i really digged the inside screw thingy.
So, just great! Im really happy i can just pop this bad boy on my old bottles.

its a lid

This lid is sturdy and easy to clean. It doesn't take on the plastic taste that a lot do, nor does it hold the taste of the last drink after cleaning.

I bought my LTT water bottle in 2021 and the customer support for that bottle has been exceptional, even replacing the lid when the old type broke. Given that, I bought a spare lid of the old type. I was concerned the screws on the outside of the new lid would ruin the "mouth feel" but this was largely a paper tiger.

After the seals on that old lid broke, after years of heavy use, customer service were as helpful as ever. The new V2 lid has much easier seal removal and I don't expect it to break similarly. I'm glad to be able to keep the bottle going because its still great.

I also bought a cheap wide-mouth hydroflask compatible lid from Amazon and it fits perfectly on my LTT bottle. So if you have an old hydroflask whose lid or seals has broken, this LTT lid should fit.

It sucks that the shipping has to be so high, but thats the nature of shipping to Europe so don't let it dissuade you from the lid. As part of a larger order, or if you're shipping to the mainland US/ Canada, this lid is a great upgrade for an old bottle.
